PATRICK HURLEY

Patrick has worked professionally as a freelance pianist, Musical Director and arranger for over ten years in a wide variety of musical contexts. He was Deputy Musical Director for the original UK tours of 9 To 5: The Musical and Dance ‘Til Dawn, and for the last two years has acted as Vocal MD for QDOS Entertainment at Crewe Lyceum. He played keyboards for the original UK production of Altar Boyz and, most recently, was Associate Musical Directory for the UK revival of Bat Boy: The Musical at Southwark Playhouse.

As part of Music Dimension he has recently provided arrangements for Jack Frost’s Frozen Christmas at the Pavilion Theatre, Worthing, and is currently working on a set of original orchestrations for a new musical for Josef Weinberger Ltd.

Outside of musical theatre, Patrick continues to enjoy working on a number of original projects. He tours regularly with The Angry Men, a jazz-fusion quintet based in the North-West of England, and is a founding member of the multi-award-winning contemporary jazz ensemble Beats & Pieces.
